Revo Foods, a Vienna-based food tech company, has opened a new crowdinvesting round on the FunderNation platform to raise up to 1 million euros. The funds will be used to develop the next generation of its 3D food printers and to build out its machine licensing business.

The company is seeking investments from a minimum of 100 euros, with the round having already drawn 860,580 euros from 102 investors as of August 17. Repayment is scheduled for May 31, 2031.

According to Robin Simsa, Commercial Director and co-founder of Revo Foods, "3D extrusion allows us to completely rethink food production and put people's individual needs at the center of the technology."

## A New Business Model

Revo Foods plans to add a business-to-business arm to its operations, built on the licensing and sale of industrial 3D food production systems. This will position the technology itself as a product alongside the finished foods.

The company has a history of successful fundraising on the FunderNation platform, with two previous rounds raising 1,603,427 euros and 0 euros respectively. The first round, which closed in 2024, funded the opening of THE TASTE FACTORY in Vienna, described by the company as the world's largest industrial facility for 3D food printing.
