Pringles launches thick dippers, Pop-Tarts
Pringles introduces its thickest-ever chips for dipping, while Pop-Tarts collaborates with BuzzBallz on alcoholic drinks and Snoop Dogg's Dr.

Pringles has launched its thickest crisp ever, designed specifically for dipping. The new Pringles Dippers are wavier and sturdier than the brand's traditional chips, according to a statement from Eileen Flaherty-Yao, senior director of salty at Mars Snacking North America.
"We know it can be frustrating if your typical salty dipping vessel prevents your perfect scoop or breaks as you dip, which is why we’ve created Pringles Dippers," Flaherty-Yao said. The new line comes in three flavors: original, French onion, and bacon cheddar.
This move aligns with a broader trend of snack brands positioning themselves as pairings for dips. PepsiCo's Tostitos, for example, has launched a companion guacamole. The dip category is growing as consumers seek customizable flavor combinations and snacks that can serve as light meals.
Circana data cited by The Packer indicates the refrigerated dips category was worth $2.3 billion for the year ending May 2025. Volume sales for the category increased by 3.7% from 2024.
Pop-Tarts and BuzzBallz Collaboration
Pop-Tarts has collaborated with Sazerac-owned BuzzBallz for a limited-edition collection of alcoholic drinks. The partnership features two flavors based on Pop-Tarts classics: Frosted S'mores and Frosted Brown-Sugar Cinnamon.
Both ready-to-drink cocktails contain 15% alcohol by volume and retail for $3.99. They are intended exclusively for consumers of legal drinking age and are currently rolling out nationwide.
A Sazerac spokesperson stated the offering aims to attract millennial consumers interested in 1990s nostalgia. Many traditional breakfast brands are leaning into nostalgic roots to reach this demographic. WK Kellogg recently brought back cereal box toys.
BuzzBallz is known for its high alcohol content and round shape. The brand has found success with Gen Z and younger drinkers seeking bold flavors and high alcohol options. Sazerac, the owner of Buffalo Trace and Fireball, bought BuzzBallz in 2024. Its recent acquisitions have focused on younger legal drinking age consumers, including other ready-to-drink cocktails like Dirty Shirley and Au Vodka.
An IWSR report found 57% of RTD consumers in the U.S. are either Millennials or Gen Z.
Snoop Dogg's Sherbet Popsicles
Snoop Dogg's premium ice cream brand, Dr. Bombay, is launching Snoopsicles. The co-founded brand, started in 2023, is moving into the frozen novelty category with a popsicle made of sherbet instead of typical water ice.
The sherbet contains 2% milk fat, which adds a smooth and creamy texture. Hazem Hijleh, Dr. Bombay's chief business officer, said the product brings "the spirit of 90s nostalgia and hip hop to the freezer aisle." The popsicles are made with real fruit juice and no artificial colors.
Snoopsicles are available in raspberry, cherry, and lime flavors exclusively at Costco, marking a retail expansion for Dr. Bombay. This is the brand's first frozen novelty launch since its founding. The company believes the format will broaden its consumer base and increase usage occasions.
Dr. Bombay is best known for pints that blend sherbet and ice cream. Hijleh said this unique blend allowed the brand to stand out with fruit-forward flavors. He noted that 95% of ice cream pints sold in the U.S. are a combination of chocolate, vanilla, or caramel.
