Pop-Tarts and Liquid Death Launch Citrus Pastry for November
Pop-Tarts and Liquid Death unveil a second collaboration: a limited-edition Frosted Orange toaster pastry launching in November 2026, alongside a quirky alarm clock sweepstakes.

Pop-Tarts is teaming up with Liquid Death for a second limited-time product, a citrus-flavored toaster pastry launching this November. The new Pop-Tarts Liquid Death Squeezed to Death Frosted Orange pastry follows the brands' earlier collaboration on a limited-edition iced tea earlier this year.
This marks the first Liquid Death-inspired flavor from the iconic toaster pastry brand. The partnership aims to attract younger consumers through Gen Z-friendly collaborations, a strategy also seen with Pop-Tarts' work with BuzzBallz and its protein-enhanced varieties.
Flavor and availability
The limited-time offering features a bright citrus filling inside a golden-orange crust, topped with frosting and orange sprinkles. It is inspired by Liquid Death's Squeezed to Death Orange soda-flavored sparkling water and the taste of freshly squeezed oranges.
Pop-Tarts Liquid Death Squeezed to Death Frosted Orange will be available at participating retailers beginning in November 2026. Availability may vary by store.
Pricing and packaging
The toaster pastries will be sold in two box sizes with the following suggested retail prices:
| Box Size | Suggested Retail Price |
|---|---|
| 12-count | $4.69 |
| 16-count | $4.97 |

Brand insights
Kim Holowiak, Director of Growth & Marketing at Pop-Tarts, stated that limited-time collaborations offer a new way to experience both brands. Greg Fass, VP of Marketing at Liquid Death, said the new toaster pastry tastes like their orange soda-flavored sparkling water.
The product is described as having a flaky, buttery crust with nostalgic sugar-cookie notes, followed by bright orange filling, frosting, and sprinkles, finishing with a pleasant orange sugar-cookie taste. The brand suggests it gives fans permission to have a 'bad morning' in a non-traditional sense.
In other food trend news, Bachan’s has introduced a line of Japanese Mayos available exclusively at Whole Foods in three flavors: original, spicy, and black garlic. Justin Gill from Bachan’s said: 'Whether you’re dipping, drizzling, spreading, or mixing, our Japanese Mayos are made to make every bite better.' The brand, purchased by Marzetti Company for $400 million earlier this year, saw sales increase 8.7% for the quarter ending June 30 and plans to introduce a tamari-based wing sauce.
Separately, That’s it. Has launched Fruitola Fruit Granola, which contains 16 grams of plant-based protein and 7 grams of fiber per bowl with only four ingredients and no added sugar. Founder Dr. Lior Lewensztain stated the brand’s mission is to make the cleanest granola. The launch comes as the granola market is projected to grow from $9 billion in 2022 to nearly $12 billion in 2032, with major players like Ferrero and Kashi also expanding in the category.
